Dining at The Courtyard
At The Courtyard we aspire to all things wonderful in the kitchen. Living here in the Charente gives us no end of possibilities with local and home grown produce. Both our bed and breakfast and gîte guests enjoy trying new dishes at The Courtyard.
Steph makes a fine sea food risotto with spicy chorizo. The fresh mussels are so sweet and subtle in taste whilst the chorizo adds a bite of chilli without overpowering the dish. Fresh glossy, green peas straight from the pod give colour, texture and wonderful flavour.
Mop up with a homemade seeded loaf fresh from the oven, a cool glass of local Sauvignon and voila, a gorgeous lunch or dinner.
