Royan Beach

Royan is a wonderful place to visit. Just over an hour away from The Courtyard, Royan has a huge sandy beach, a marina and other smaller beaches. There are all the usual seaside things to do and buy here, but somehow not so down market as many UK seaside resorts! A day out has to include Moules Mariniere in one of the great restaurants along the beach front, the best of the French seaside.

Puy Du Feu

This is an amazing theme park with an eye on historic recreations. I personally think this beats Disney hands down! It is very close so use us as a base for your visit!
